Shantnu Mehra
Shantnu came from the other side of the table. An MBA, he clocked an early market in Indian menswear, wide open, badly served and a brother in Los Angeles whose graduationshow convinced him there was a business inside the art. He’s the one thinking in stores, seasons, and scale.Together, they've run the label since 1999,one setting the vision on the table, the other building the room around it.
Nikhil Mehra
Nikhil found fashion before he found the business of it,reworking his school uniform at twelve, then laterwith a masters indesignin Los Angeles.Hecame back to run a design studio out of the second floor of his own house, teaching a small team to drape from scratch. People climbed stairs with no signage to buy from him anyway. He's the one who thinks in fabric and form, the drape, the silhouette, the detail no one asked for but everyone notices.
